"Travelling was the most memorable and valuable experience of my school year"
Many schools and students are taking advantage of the opportunities to travel overseas with all the rewards this offers. Cultural exchange, community projects, educational events, sporting activities, expeditions and adventure journeys are many of the components of school trips that immerse students and support staff in the life of their destination country and provide such enriching experiences.
The professional and friendly doctors and nurses at the Travel Medicine Centre in Perth have for many years been able to help school groups to optimise their health and safety. We have the full range of vaccinations, medications, first aid kits and information to equip you with the ability to stay well and manage common conditions on your trip.
· Student travel may bring you into much closer proximity with locals for longer periods of time, in environments which may have suboptimal sanitation and healthcare
All vaccinations, medications, first aid kits and information available on site in one convenient location- save on trips to and fro a medical clinic and chemist.
Let us know if you need special arrangements such as group briefings or customised medical kits.
Saturday morning clinics are available in addition to normal office hours Monday to Friday for appointments.
Our professional doctors and nurses are pleased to support school groups by offering bulk-billing of all students and all support staff for travel consultations relating to school group trips in 2016/2017. Save $100 or more in consultation fees by attending our clinic. Our vaccination and medication costs are very reasonable, and many private health funds will provide rebates.
We prefer to provide the vaccines at our practice as this optimises safety, confidentiality and allows us to provide professional service on a one-to-one basis, with the advantages of being able to obtain all your travel health needs at one stop.
